MILITARY-GOVERNMENT-CIVIL SERVICE LEADERS: ROBERT S. MUELLER III - WHAT'S IN A NAME?

Robert Swan Mueller III /ˈmʌlər/ (born August 7, 1944) is an American lawyer and civil servant who was the sixth Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, serving from 2001 to 2013. A Republican, he was appointed by President George W. Bush and his original ten-year term was given a two-year extension by President Barack Obama, making him the longest-serving FBI director since J. Edgar Hoover.

A graduate of Princeton University, Mueller served as a Marine Corps officer during the Vietnam War, receiving the Bronze Star Medal with Combat "V" for heroism and the Purple Heart Medal. After graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1973, he worked at a private firm in San Francisco for three years until his appointment as an assistant U.S. Attorney in the same city. Prior to his appointment as FBI director, Mueller served as a United States Attorney, as assistant attorney general for the Criminal Division and as acting deputy attorney general.

GOOD EVENING FAMILY AND FRIENDS,

EVER SINCE MR. MUELLER'S NAME WAS ANNOUNCED AS SPECIAL COUNSEL IN THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION AND RUSSIAN ELECTION INTERFERENCE INVESTIGATION, I KNEW THERE WAS A REASON THAT MR. MUELLER'S NAME SOUNDED FAMILIAR TO ME WAS BECAUSE OUR AUSTIN AIRPORT HAD BEEN NAMED AFTER A MAN NAMED MUELLER...I HAVE SPENT MOST OF TODAY RESEARCHING HIM...

AND, OF COURSE, HE IS NOT THE "MUELLER" FOR WHOM OUR AIRPORT WAS NAMED...THAT IS A FACT THAT I HAVE NOT YET HEARD ON NATIONAL NEWS....BUT, I AM HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO SHARE THE INFORMATION BELOW REGARDING OUR "ROBERT MUELLER"  CONNECTION"!!!

Robert Mueller Municipal Airport (/ˈmɪlər/ MILL-ər) was the first civilian airport built in Austin, Texas, operating from 1930 to 1999. It was replaced as Greater Austin's main airport by the Austin Bergstrom International Airport.[2] Located a few miles northeast of downtown Austin, the airport was named after Robert Mueller, a city commissioner who had died while in office in January 1927.[5][6] Mueller was identified with the three letter "AUS" airport code and this "AUS" code was then assigned to the Austin Bergstrom International Airport in 1999.
