THE ADVISE SHOW: NY State Assemblywoman Diana Richardson's Speech On The Response To Crack Epidemic

New York State Assemblywoman Diana Richardson gave a speech a year ago on funds being directed to fight the opioid epidemic in New York. Assemblywoman Richardson shared what happened to the African American community during the crack epidemic. No one cared about black people suffering from crack addiction. Black people received harsh jail time with some people still locked up in 2017. Now certain people are on meth & opioids and all of the sudden it moves from a criminal justice issue to a health issue. Once again the racial difference in America always show it's ugly head.
