ALLEN JOHNSON




Allen Kenneth Johnson (born March 1, 1971) is a retired American hurdling athlete who won the gold medal in the 110 metre hurdles at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a four-time world champion.

Born in Washington, D.C., an all-round athlete, Johnson attended University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and excelled at high jump, long jump and decathlon as well as hurdles.

FEMALE AWARD WINNER

MARION JONES



Marion Lois Jones (born October 12, 1975), also known as
Marion Jones-



Thompson, is an American former world champion

track and field athlete



She won three gold medals and two bronze medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, but was later stripped of the titles after admitting to steroid use.




Jones did retain her three gold medals as a world champion




from 1997 and 1999.
Marion is also a former professional basketball player





for Tulsa Shock in the WNBA.
